It's been 12 days since I started my South Beach diet. I avoided rice, breads, pastas and sweets. It's actually so hard to be on a diet since I had to plan my meals everyday. I had to stock up my ref with food that are allowed in Phase 1 of SB diet or else my diet will be ruined when I get hungry.
My drinks are limited to decaffeinated black coffee with Splenda, low fat milk or Coke Zero. I think my weight loss will be dramatic if I avoided Coke Zero... but then again, I'm already giving up on food that I love so being able to drink this is a reward already.
As I've said. these 12 days have been soooo hard but the comments from my relatives and friends who notice my weight loss inspire me to continue. I'm looking forward to the day when I'll be able to fit in my old clothes again.
I'm planning to be on Phase 1 of SB diet for the whole month of December to maximize my weight loss. Of course, I will have my cheat days on Christmas and New Year's Day.
